Did you know Pharoahe Monch just dropped an album, “Lost In Translation,” available for ‘name your price‘ on his Bandcamp page? I didn’t. Apparently, it is his Valentine’s Day gift to us all, released on Feb 14th and is much appreciated! (Thanks Pharoahe, we didn’t know you cared!)
The project is a retrospective collection of previously released songs and features from 2000 to 2015, but it does include one new song “Home (HGH)” featuring Phonte’ and Tamisha. “Lost In Translation” is no joke, also featuring Jill Scott, Justin Timberlake, Will.I.Am, Mela Machinko, jazz great Robert Glasper and more!
The theme of the collection is “Love” of course, hence the Valentine’s Day release date (kinda like MCMI’s “Love Is” mixtape, shameless self-plug). Stream “Lost In Translation” or download it for anything you want to contribute (drop some $, don’t be a moocher! lol). Remember, support the artists whose music you dig, or else don’t complain about what you hear on the radio.
