C-RAYZ WALZ – ALMIGHTY: THE SOLAR FACTS (New Album)

C-Rayz Almighty

Wow, this new C-Rayz Walz album ALMIGHTY: The Solar Facts, is so culturally rich, sonically intense and lyrically dense, it will take you awhile to get through it. That is because this is NOT pop music! Songs are longer than 3 minutes, often have 2 to 5 (or more!) features on it. The beats are NY underground hardcore boom bap. The lyrical content is deep, spiritual, metaphysical “manifestation of Godly bars” as C-Rayz puts it.

Disclaimer: I (GMS) am featured on the intro track “Gee Chee“, a creative spelling of “G chi”, which refers to being a “G” (godly), and the life force that flows through our bodies in the form of blood, oxygen and internal energy. Those who study an internal martial art or understand Eastern philosophy will get that.

When I did my verse I knew there would be others on the song (most notably Grand Master Caz, who bodies it at the end, right after my verse), but I did not realize the amount of raw talent C-rayz recruited for this monumental effort. The album itself is 22 tracks and also features Tragedy Khadafi, Sadat X, Matisyahu, Afu-Ra, iCon The Mic King, L.I.F.E. Long, John Robinson, Jasiri X, Ike P The God, King Eric The III, 12 Gauge Phaze, The Godilla Jaguar Paw, Gilateen, Grey Granite, East Coast, Formaldahyde Dankenstein, Done One, Skewtape NYC, MyGrane McNastee, Faze Blue Légoon, Arsenal Hendrix, Freddie Bunz, Merc Versus, Kassius Kakes, Spit Raw, Subtex, Sav Killz, Murdoc, Kimence, Leeroy Destroy & Labal-S of BloodyMonkConsortium, Boss L, AFrican American Zombie Lawyer and I’m sure I am STILL missing a few people. The list of producers is just as long.

Yeah … and this is part 1 of a 9 album cycle. C-rayz is back with a vengeance and he is not F@#$in’ playin’! Hope you have some free time. The world will never be the same. Long live Hip Hop!

Cheng!
