C-Rayz Walz drops a buttery self-directed video off his album ‘Almighty: The Solar Facts’ a “manifestation of godly bars.” Part 1 of a 9 album cycle from C-Rayz Walz, Almighty: The Solar Facts features Wordsworth, Q-Unique, Afu-Ra, Sadat X, Reef The Lost Cauze, Icon The Mic King, Tragedy Khadafi, Grandmaster Caz & myself, GMS, to name a few.

This cut Stimuli (I’m Ready), features L.I.F.E. Long (Stronghold), John Robinson (Scienz of Life) and Jasiri X, and was produced by Kentron The Mastodon. Besides being graced by MC’s who can truly spit, the chorus “I’m ready … to live my life” along with the positive energy of the track, will make you feel good about Hip Hop music.  No ice grilling in this video. All the MC’s drop science with a smile. The song is a celebration of life. Get you some.

Q-Unique – What Can I Do f. Torae & PH

Q-unique ph Torae
Damn Q-Unique is not letting us catch our breath from the last dope single before he drops another! On What Can I Do, ft. Torae & PH, this trio of dope MC’s ask some poignant questions while bodying the track. Shouts to Sicknature of SnowGoons, who produced the track. That “What can I do …?” sample is so catchy, you won’t be able to get it out of your head once you listen to the song.

Q-UniqueAll these songs are coming from Q-Unique’s project Marvels Team Up, which also features ILL Bill, PMD, Nems Guttah, Vinnie Paz, Sabac (!), Slaine, Realm Reality and more … available on iTunes.

PH & Q-UNIQUE: GATEKEEPERS (Single)

PH & Q-Unique

Over 14 years ago, there was a double A-Side record called “Plan A”, produced by Skeme Team, which had The Arsonists & Non Phixion (“14 Years of Rap”) on one side and Brooklyn Academy (“Con Artists”) on the other. At the end of 2013, right on time for Christmas, comes a new song from PH & Q-Unique, as the Brooklyn Academy and Arsonists veterans come together once again, over a DJ Supa Dave production, “Gatekeepers”.

“Gatekeepers” is a statement from the two artists showing that they can verbally spar with the best old and new rappers in the game, keeping Hip Hop exactly that – “Hip Hop”! The song is dope, with both MC’s spittin’ fire over the Supa Dave banger and the artwork is pretty sick as well. I hear there is a video in the works.
