THAIONE DAVIS – “SEVENTEEN” (Audio + Video)

Producer/emcee THAIONE DAVIS born and raised on the southside of Chicago, got into the game 12 years ago with his first release on vinyl, even as the medium was being phased out by many (it’s still here, by the way, artists keep releasing vinyl and turntables are still being manufactured and sold). SEVENTEEN is mostly self produced project (with a little help from The Geaux) and has no samples. With every track being played live, the array of sounds ranging from sparse upright bass, circuit bending Moog, electro-Theremin, and drippy drums combine to create collages of no nonsense hip hop.
