FREEDOM: How We Get – GMS & Chordz Chordero (MLK Jr Day Tribute)

In honor of MLK Jr. and all the other freedom fighters around the world throughout history, I thought I’d bring this one back today, for MLK Day. This one-off single, FREEDOM: How We Get dropped a few years ago on this day, on MCMI Records, produced by yours truly, GMS. Words and vocals by Chordz Cordero. Check out the “Bookends Mix” that Chordz Cordero blesses with an inspiring verse and the “Political Mix” for more inspiring messages.

Chordz has a project with label mate PH (“This Is Not a Tyler Perry Movie“) and an EP with DubMD and DC producer JUDAH (“Catalyst: [E]volution (EP)“). He will be releasing a collaborative project called HighBred, in February. GMS appears on the song Here I Go Again, off of the album TRANSITIONS, by Keith WildChild Middleton, out now, and has several projects in the works, coming soon on MCMI Records.
