Res + Talib Kweli = Idle Warship

Singer/Songwriter Res and MC Talib Kweli will be releasing their debut album Habits Of The Heart as Idle Warship on October 24th. Check out the first single “Laser Beams”. I like when Kweli rhymes over this kind of drum pattern (check out Midnight Hour with Estelle). Been a fan of Res for awhile, since I saw one of her performances a few years ago. Her music is dope. I have been waiting for her to break through to a wider audience and get the props she deserves. Pretty smart move for the both of them and the single knocks! Two great artists come together and form a cross genre group. Support Idle Warship when it drops!
