SHA STIMULI – The Old Me: How I Met Your Baby Mother

Sha Stimuli

CLICK TO PREVIEW OR BUY ALBUM

Recorded and mixed at Salem Psalms Library in Atlanta, Georgia by Amond “A.J” Jackson, this is #6 in the Rent Tape Series. If you are familiar with Sha Stimuli’s “Motherf*cker: The Milf Song” or “The Smelly Cat Song”, you can just imagine an EP with this title is going to be shocking, entertaining and hilarious! Sha Stimuli is killing these monthly EP’s & Albums. He is not simply stringing together a bunch of random songs, out-takes and freestyles. Each of the “Rent Tapes” has its own theme, crafted with care, speaking on whatever is going on in the man’s life this month. That’s what makes them so special. Not many artists give you such an acurate, personal, introspective and yet hilarious slice of their life. Featuring guest appearances by John Legend and Bellringer.

ARCHIVES

Over here at MCMI, we have been cooking up things behind the scenes, getting ready to hit you with a lot of developments and music over the summer. Last week, we launched MCMI RADIO, our Online Hip Hop Talk Show. The show airs live on Fridays between 9 – 10pm, but as soon as the show is done it is archived and available for playback, embedding, downloading, etc. so it becomes a podcast after that.

MCMI RADIO

On the show you will hear from the characters at MCMI (GMS, LR BLITZKRIEG, PH, PACKFM, MrMECC, etc), plus special guests each week, talking about music and events that are up on MCMIreport.com and any interesting Hip Hop related news that week. We usually disagree, argue, and fight about everything, so we present many sides to an argument, each week. You also get hit with some great music that you don’t hear on mainstream radio much, so tune in for that as well.

If you missed last weeks MCMI RADIO (Ep 1), you can listen to it here.

We talked about the LYRICIST LOUNGE 20 Year Reunion show we had all been to, a Jean Grae show, and we played some ShaStimuli, Punchline, Words, Masta Ace, Strickland, Fara Burns, Kendrik Lamar and DMP.

TONIGHT’S TOPIC: After the dust has settled, who was wrong, Lupe Fiasco for the T.R.O.Y beat, or Pete Rock for being too sensitive?

SPECIAL GUEST: POISON PEN of PoisonPenTV.

No internet? Not near a computer? GET THE SHOW RIGHT ON YOUR PHONE, by calling (646) 478-3599. You can press a button if you want to speak to the host, or just listen.

Go HERE to listen, starting at 9PM.

*UPDATE: Here is episode 2, in the player below. Tune in next Friday @ 9pm for the next installment, where we will be interviewing PackFM about his new CD, his experiment with stand-up comedy and more…

Officer Ricky Rozay New Video: Planking on Donuts (parody)

Ricky RozayWow. this is hilarious! I haven’t seen anyone clown Rick Ross this hard since ShaStimuli put out Unsung (I’ll include that after the jump if you aint heard it). Some folks thought that was aimed at Drake or southern rap in general, but Stimuli denies it (Check out this interview on Hip HopDX), saying it was about nobody in particular. To me it’s gotta be Ross.

Anyway, this next joint is DEF-initely aimed at Ross. It’s a straight parody. The planking part doesn’t come until the very end if you’re looking for that. Shout out to @JettWilson, @PlusDaddy_wl @success_jr and @Jizzlemarley_wl, they went in on this one.
