Here is a look at the visuals for ‘Seasons Change‘, directed by Olise Forel, from the forthcoming Shabaam Sahdeeq EP on KingUnderground Records coming later in 2013. S Dub drops lessons for what looks like his son, on this LewisParker track.
Up and coming BK spitter Mic Handz dropped his full project “SAYYOUAINTKNOW: The Software” on Thursday, with an amazing release party at Public Assembly. For anyone who still does not know about this project, which features highly respected artists such as Shabaam Sahdeeq, General Steele (Smiff n Wessun), Rockness Monsta & Sean Price (Heltah Skeltah), MIMS, Big Daddy Kane, Treach, Light & Lee Majors, (Da Bush Babees) and Lady Luck, here is a free sample, for stream and download, featuring heavyweight rhyme-fighter Sean Price.
In promotion for Nutso’s extended play release, Behind These Bars, (now available), the Q-Borough spitter delivers the visuals for the debut single “Blowing Up,” featuring mic vet Royal Flush and Brooknam’s Shabaam Sahdeeq (a/k/a S-Dub). Directed by Lightward Media, the visuals document the rising success of the three artists as they are the featured cover story of every major print magazine and newspaper circulation from The New York Sun, TIme, Esquire, Billboard, Rolling Stone, XXL, Life, USA Today, RESPECT., Vibe, The Hollywood Reporter, Fader, Car And Driver and more. It’s a dope concept with nice visuals of the artists on the covers of each magazine. Produced by: Mac (a/k/a/ Macapella) deftly utilizes the classic B.I.G line from “Juicy” for the chorus, lending the song a feeling of hope, officialness and familiarity. Cuts by Chinch 33 hold it all together.
“Futuristic” produced by Harry Fraud is a banger. Shabaam Sahdeeq, Eddie B and Smoke DZA all murk it on this track. Video is plain and simple. Three MC’s and the producer drinkin’, rhymin’ and gettin’ lifted. First leak from Shabaam Sahdeeq & Eddie B’s joint project “The Wolves” dropping soon. Visuals shot by El Chain and edited by Phaze Wun.
Shabaam Sahdeeq’s “Off The Leash” ft. Mic Handz, was produced by Alterbeats from “Relentless Pt. 2″ available on iTunes & all digital retailers. The video, directed by Soul Mazons, is shot like a movie and says “To Be Continued” at the end, so this is part of a bigger story. Sahdeeq and Handz spit that sweet street science, with a veteran hardcore flow and intensity.
