PROXY – LR BLITZKRIEG SINGLE + VIDEO RELEASE PARTY
JOIN US this Friday, October 20th, 2017, as we celebrate MCMI co-founder Rodney “LR BLITZKRIEG” Willie’s debut solo single and video release, of the song PROXY, off his much anticipated album #OuttaNowhere.
For those who don’t know, LR Blitzkrieg has been a part of the New York Hip Hop scene for years as part of the rap trio HYDRA and the legendary crew The PLAGUE. He is the co-founder of MCMI RECORDS, MCMI APPAREL and MCMIreport.com. He was also the best friend of the late great Robert “PH” Diaz (aka Pumpkinhead) and is Godfather to his children.
Having recently lost PH, several family members and other friends within the Hip Hop community (#ripPH, #ripJArch, #ripSeanPrice, #ripMajesty just to name a few), Blitzkrieg got to thinking about those who have left us suddenly, due to unknown health reasons, a tragic accident, or unjustly killed by police, “for no reason at all” and penned this song.
The video was shot in Las Vegas, in collaboration with HYDRA and friends and represents living your life to the fullest because you never know when your time is up. Come party with us on Friday, in #PROXY of all those who can’t be with us, because their life was cut short and help us celebrate life in their memory as well as celebrate this first single PROXY, off of LR Blitzkrieg’s debut solo record Outta Nowhere, which will drop “outta nowhere” sometime soon!
Friday Oct.20th 5:30-8:00 – Join the MCMI team at the release of LR Blitzkrieg‘s first solo single & video “PROXY“, at the best HIP HOP bar in New York city!
FAT BUDDHA – 212 Ave A New York, New York 10009
MUSIC – DJ DP ONE (Heavy Hitterz / Turntable Anihilists / The PLAGUE)
Come see the video, have some happy hour drinks, food and vibe to some new music!

Straight out of Detroit, lyrical wordsmith Kid Vishis teams up with his brother, Royce 5’9 (from Slaughterhouse and Prhyme).Kid Vishus ft Royce the 5’9 – Go Off, produced by Foulmouth, is the second single off of Vishis’ release “The Purge” that dropped two weeks ago on 22 Entertainment/Orchard/Sony.
Fans of MCMI might remember when Vishisdid a collab with PH on his 2011 releaseThis Ain’t What You Want, also featuring Marv Won, off his album Know The Ledge. As you can see, Kid Vishis is definitely a force of his own to be reckoned with, all Royce aside. Nevertheless, it’s dope to get a brotherly collab from the two from time to time, the ‘Big Daddy Kane, Lil Daddy Shane overdoers’, if you get my reference.

MCMI Report: PUMPKINHEAD – Park Slope Renaissance: Vol 1 (Re-released!)
Back by popular demand, the once out of stock RARE mixtapes are again available!
For years, even before his transition in 2015, many of PUMPKINHEAD’s classic Mixtapes had sold out and were not available as CD’s or digital downloads. Some of the songs can be found here and there on Youtube or a bootleg free downloads website, but several of them are considered RARE and cannot be found anywhere. The few copies that were on ebay for hundreds of dollars have long been sold.
At Robert PH Diaz‘ widow’s request, MCMI is excited to put these classic Pumpkinhead mixtapes back into rotation! These collections were curated by Pumpkinhead himself. They contain original songs that never made an album, freestyles and songs recorded over known beats, and songs he would record just for those mixtapes, to hold his fans over between his major releases.
Every couple of weeks, we will be uploading another of PH’s classic mixtapes. We already have My Era: No Skinny Jeans Allowed (which comes with a high quality download of his video for That’s That Sh*t!) and now Park Slope Renaissance: Vol 1 is available, at PHmcmi.bandcamp.com, where you can also find his latest singles and albums and other past works.
The cover of the Park Slope Renaissance mixtapes Pt 1 & 2 (pt 2 will be released in 2weeks!) were done by MCMI’s LR Blitzkrieg, who will be dropping a solo album #OuttaNowhere, soon, with a song featuring PH and the legendary MOP. The photo is in front of the actual Marlboro sign on the corner bodega of the block PH grew up on, Degraw St & 5th Avenue, Park Slope, Brooklyn, which as you may already know will forever be know as Robert “PH” Diaz Way, thanks to our petition brought to the City Council by Councilman Brad Lander and signed into law by Mayor De Blasio last year.
All proceeds of the mixtapes (and his entire MCMI catalogue) go to PH’s surviving three children, Raiden, Royce & Robbie, so go download some music, listen to some powerful Hip Hop and look to the East for that orange moon over Brooklyn!
