MCMI Report: What is Fudge Pudge? (Organized Konfusion)

Props to the theBeeShine for featuring this on their site. Fudge Pudge is a classic song by Organized Konfusion, featuring the homie O.C. As Bryan from theBeeShine explains,

… the song does not reference or explain the term “fudge pudge” that is mentioned only twice.

MCMI’s PH asked people at the Organized Konfusion reuninon (BB Kings) what “fudge pudge” really means. Some of the answers are hilarious!

Besides asking the 3 artists on the song, PH also asked Chip Fu, RahzelMr. Mecc and some others what the mysterious song title means. I believe O.C. was actually telling us the real deal. Monch’s answer is a little graphic.

MC Obama Tweets the Nation #AskObama

Obama Twitter Town HallFor those who didn’t catch it on tv, here’s the official video of President Obama’s Twitter session with America, July 6th, 2011. Barack Hussein Obama /aka/ Barry /aka/ Mr. President, made history by being the first President of the United States ever to “live tweet“. His message?

Obama Tweet at Town Hall

in order to reduce the deficit, what costs would you cut and what investments would you keep – bo

I’m not going to get into a whole political debate about the content of the first Twitter Town Hall Meeting, Barack Obama’s effectiveness as a President, etc. I’ll leave that to other sites, but I do believe we should all stay informed, so please watch the show, to continue your own education as to what is going on in this country.

I do, however, want to bestow on the President, the title of “MC“. Since he started his first campaign, Barack Obama has always been a crowd motivator, a great orator, a “great debater”, to use the title of SkyZoo’s last release. With his speeches, he is known as one who “moves the crowd” .

The Bad Seed – “Intelligently Ignant” (Review)

The BAD SEED - INTELLIGENTLY IGNANT – production by Kleph Dollaz, VES, Golden Eye, Will Tell and DP , as well as features from Talib Kweli, MIMS, Nature, Kool G Rap, PH (aka Pumpkinhead)and Touch

Bad Seed sets it off right with Brown Water. He comes out the gate immediately telling his story, honest, brutal, emotional, nothing glorified. Right away we find out what he means by “6th Man Entertainment”. He addresses his former record deal with Warner Brothers, his underground status, fair weather friends and burnt bridges. This is refreshing, because for once an MCee is not bragging on how dope his rhymes are, how fly his girls are, how much money and jewelry he has and how he buss his guns all day. Instead, Seed is doing what you supposed to do in Hip Hop – be honest, be passionate and most importantly – tell your story.
