BOP ALLOY cover webBop Alloy ‘Another Day in the Life of…’

Coming off his recent release of remixes for Home Is Where the Art Is, entitled “Art is Where the Home Is”, Substantial has teamed up again with Marcus D, his partner in Bop Alloy, who handles all of the beats. The DMV duo have released their second full-length collaboration, Another Day in the Life Of…

While Marcus D handles the production, Substantial, part of the Hip Hop crew ThePLAGUE and 1/4 of QN5’s Efamm, spits about everything from his marriage proposal to letters from prison. The lead single “Count On Us,” features Grammy Nominated vocalist Carolyn Malachi. Other features on the album include Cise Starr (of CYNE), Justis, Oma Pearl (of Conjure Woman), Pismo and Steph the Sapphic Songstress.

Bop Alloy is on a West Coast tour right now, on CunninLynguists’ Strange Universe Tour with J-Live, Sadistik & Nemo Achida, with some other dates added as well.  Click here for TOUR DATES.

The folks at OutSchematic Media Agency (OutschematicTV) did an amazing job with this video of CunninLinguists rocking the HIP HOP ARENA Festival 2011, in Łódź, Poland, on June 18th.

According to QN5,

Kno, Deacon the Villain and Natti shared the stage with fellow friends Atmosphere, Dilated Peoples and EPMD at this 2 day event.

The fans are definitely throwin’ their hands in the air, so I know they appreciate good Hip Hop. CunninLinguists were on tour promoting their new album, Oneirology, on QN5 Music.

HighLine Ballroom, 431 W. 16th St, New York, NY

The QN5 MEGASHOW is an annual destination event thrown exclusively by NYC’s independent hip hop label, QN5 Music, for their fans. It is the only time the entire label’s roster (Tonedeff, CunninLynguists, PackFM, Substantial, Mr. SOS & Kokayi) converges on the same stage on the same night.

QN5 fans (ie. Blue Schoolers) from all over the world make their pilgrimage to this event to celebrate all things baby blue and see one of the most energetic and entertaining shows in Hip Hop. This event has torn down legendary spots such as CBGBs, BB Kings, The Roxy (LA) and now makes its second visit to NYC’s Highline Ballroom. As usual, there will be no photography or videotaping of this event permitted, so you’ll just have to be there to see for yourself.
