Substantial – “See Hear” (Sean-Touré Remix) [VIDEO]

The Sean-Touré Remix is a nice revisit to the recent classic “See Hear” by recording artist Substantial, originally produced by Algorythm. The original song was sonicly and lyrically a masterpiece, portraying the ups and downs of life in Substantial’s hometown Baltimore, Maryland. Sean-Touré captures that classic 90’s east coast Boom Bap with his remix, adding new colors to the palette, while maintaining the integrity of the original painting.

The Sean-Toure’ Remix Video Project available as a free download Tuesday, October 29th.

Substantial’s album “Home Is Where The Art Is” available now.

Here’s a fresh new joint from Substantial (QN5 Music/The Plague), “Would You Be Mine?” feat. Jsoul. Produced by DJ FlipFlop.

WYBM, is the 1st leak from Substantial’s upcoming FREE concept mixtape, which he’s been keeping under-wraps since he first mentioned it in May, while recovering from his surgery.  Originally, WYBM was to be featured on Sub’s 3rd solo album, Home Is Where The Art Is, but was cut soon after the name change.

Peace World. So, as promised, I graciously present new music for all of you who helped me reach over 1200 subscribers on Youtube. Substantial Interview 1

Wow, it’s been mad long since I posted Part 1 of this Interview. I apologize for the delay, but Substantial asked me not to put part 2 & 3 up yet, because he wasn’t quite ready to reveal the exclusives dropped in the later part of the Interview. So I put up the a cappella verse instead, to hold you over ’til he was ready.

Well, that day has come. Here are Parts 2 & 3 of the exclusive MCMIreport.com interview. I am not gonna make you wait for part 3 after all this time. Here’s both of them at once. Enjoy! Leave comments when you’re done watching.

I should be your 1st pick, long before the 2nd interview, 3rd LP’s a “4 out of 5” minimum, Even with short pockets stood taller than a Sentinel, Drive is uncanny, not your average individual, Think I graduated from the “Xavier Institute”, but School of Hard Knocks’ where I took my classes, where I got my Masters of Ceremony Tactics, My Poor Righteous Teachers taught me to make only classics, you might know me as this, educator and a vocalist, but who the hell you know’s a team player AND a soloist? Can dress to impress but I’m “fly” when I’m “plane”, I’m too thorough if I quit you would hire me a-gain, so fire ’em if they lame, I’ve come for what’s mine, work around the clock, I can keep up with the time since elemntary I’ve flipped the dub from a Dime, While they get the pink-slip, I get get the W-9.

SUBSTANTIAL: New Album & Tour (Exclusive Interview) Pt 1

So, I got up with Substizzle in Brooklyn the other day, a few weeks before he went in for major surgery.  He was in town on “some personal, some business.” We rapped about his accomplishments, from his previous releases and collaborations, to getting his music played on MTV, VH1 & BET and his touring (Europe, Japan and U.S.).

The GOOD NEWS is that the surgery went well, Stan does NOT have cancer, but did have a suspicious and reoccurring growth, which could have been “precancerous”, so he had a small area around it removed (“laparoscopic right hemicolectomy”).

“The purpose of the procedure I had on May 10th was to remove the section of my large and small intestines, where the growth was located. As I mentioned before, “I don’t have cancer” but I have decided to do the …surgery as a preventive measure.”” Substantial reassures us in his health update blog, “Substantial’s Road To Recovery“.
