If you haven’t been paying attention the supergroup is back.
If you long for the days of Wu-Tang, Hit Squad, and Native Tounge ill callabos look no further. Groups like Shady records SLAUGHTERHOUSE, RANDOM AXE and the most recent, THE MONEY MAKING JAM BOYS. Consisting of Truck North, STS, Dice Raw, P.O.R.N and the front man Black Thought top notch flow,delivery and wordplay is always on deck. These three groups are proving that the era of the one man show may be coming to end.

Slaughterhouse rocks highline ballroom

The venue was packed to capacity to see Shady records newest signees. DJ Premier was on the 1&2’s early to back up the unofficial 5th member of slaughterhouse Mr. Trill himself Bun B. When Crooked, Joel,Joey, and Royce hit the stage the crowd lost it as they brought out lyrical heavyweights Lloyd Banks and Pharoahe Monch throughout the set. A good night for hip hop indeed.

Sean Price Reviews Black Swan

If you thought Sean Price Grocery Shopping was hilarious (google it), here’s the next stop on his tour of all professions:

Sean P reviewed the movie “Black Swan” for Carpetbagger – New York Times’ Blog. He showed us his high standards when it comes to films, when “He gave it his version of the thumbs-up: ‘I didn’t fall asleep.'”

According to MELENA RYZIK over at Carpetbagger, he “also liked the dream sequences – “that was my favorite part, trying to figure out what’s real and what’s not,” he said – and the “girl-on-girl action.” (more…)
