In 2017, Keith branched out as an artist dropping his debut spoken word album, “TRANSITIONS“, a combination of his original music, funk, soul, jazz-fusion, dance, Hip Hop and poetry, which features many top musicians and vocalists known globally. The album came about when a car wreck almost claimed WildChild’s life. “Carpe Diem” would become his mantra. Keith knew he could not keep that side of him, the poet and musician, hidden any longer.

Transitions-Cover-for-webThe genre-bending album “TRANSITIONS” ranges from R&B, Neo-soul, to dance, Hip Hop and Acid Jazz, with guest appearances by HYDRA, Latoya Kennedy, Camile Armstrong, Nabiyah Bashir, Ryan Pinkston and Ace Digital, brought together to bring this labor of love to fruition. There are many stand-out tracks like That Kiss, Brazilian Skies, Here I Go Again, Supreme and SupaStahh, and there are videos for the tracks FeelsGood, B.M.F. and a lyric-video for Speed of Life.

The title TRANSITIONS is self-explanatory, as Keith goes in on many topics which were part of his transition to manhood, independence and self-fulfillment, including everything from relationships, to addiction, to honor, to the birth of his children. But it’s not all deep and serious, Keith has something for the playful, the dance crew, the MC, the poet, the lover and the fighter.
